Adam, shot FBlacks through 45 thou of choke, funnily enough they were brilliant at the going away on stand 13, 50 yards plus, not very good at the close stuff. But frankly I think they are overrated over hyped and over exposed by a mouthy bitch from Berkshire, a Plumber from Staffordshire ( what do they know, you can never get them, on a call out).

I believe in what Ed Solomons says , there are no bad cartridges. Unless they are made by Fiocchii.

Rehab going well thanks SoR, walked a mile yesterday one week post-op, have some plans fir next Growler, just building a game plan, yes I do mean the new Remington Premium with the Italian internals and the same case as some Gamebore jobbies, will look to get my mits on some to give em a whirl when I'm fit to shoot.

Growl,

Have a walk up to Macclesfield, Edgar Bros, buy a slab, walk back, get the other hip done. Simple.

I'll wander over there, better leave it till the summer though, it's probably still snowing in Macclesfield, just remembered it's the Gordon case, has anyone on here tried em???

Yes, Graham, they are all right, but nothing to shout out about. Like every shell nowadays they do the job well.

All we have to do with any shell nowadays is buy a slab, try them and see how we get on with them and possibly the deciding factors will be felt recoil, cleanliness of burn and clay breaking efficiency.Becky will be shooting them because they are free or very cheap, but would prefer to shoot Clever, George will be shooting Gamebore , but prefer to shoot Clever, Richard will shoot Express but prefer to shoot Clever.

I shoot Clever because Darkside told me to, and he's always right, his wife told me so.

Then of course some people from Berkshire shoot Fiocchii !   ( Does that make them Berks????)

I would like to try Clever too, but are they only available from north of the border or faux, still more than happy with my VIPs just nice to have a comparison now and then, cheers Growl

Salopian, I can hardly milk these cows for laughing after reading that post...nice one!!!

If you want to try Clever, phone Tom at North Ayrshire, £20/1000 delivery, try either 1000 T2's @£180+p&p or try 250 T1 'Supert Targets' @£39.50 500 T2's @£90 and 250 Grand Italia @£52.25...1000 Clever variety pack for £201.75 delivered!!!

p.s. Don't be fooled by the price of T1's into thinking they are just a budget shell because they cost £158/1000 they are quality components loaded into a plain case with the most efficient loading machines in the world, producing more shells, in less time, with less manpower to a higher quality than anyone else, hence lower price!!! The dearer Clevers shells are the same only with EVEN better components!!!

Thanks for this Darkside, I'll give them a go as soon as I'm back shooting, which version would you say most closely matched the VIPs I'm used to? Thanks, Graham.

Grand Italia or T2, Clever are very smooth shooting, don't expect to get knocked about by them!!!
