I'm sure a spare pair of shoes will sort that problem ? have they got a price for the x class yet? I can imagine it to be around 50k with a decent spec. Could be a good leasing option though.Every 4x4 I've had I've not been bothered working it hard and bashing it up but it seems like a shame to get the x class dirty! It does look like a beast with the off road tyres and winch though
...and I wouldn't want to get in that interior with muddy wellies!

Nothing but at £50 grand for a pimped up Nissan.
No RRP yet from Mercedes Benz , as soon as she has her's your welcome to test drive it and yes always a deal for a fellow shooter
Yes a Navara chassis frame and the entry level will use the Nissan engine but the top of the range will use the Mercedes V6 diesel engine which is a first class powertrain
Bear in mind anything used from Nissan would have been overhauled and improved by Mercedes Benz engineers

This was my shooting wagon
Just today replaced the old L200,she has been a wonderful old servant for 9 years. She has done 190000 over all sorts of terrain and I am loathe to part with her. Her replacement is an Isuzu Rodeo ,Denver. If its half as good as old Mitzi I will be very happy.

Did the land rover experience a couple of years ago in a discovery and they run them on road tyres and the instructors say its more down to the driver than the tyres? You'd be surprised how far you can go on standard tyres

True but tyres with little tread left on them on soggy slippery ground or with with slimy mud or clay will have an issue.
I have owned many 4x4's and taken them very seriously off road and worked with Land Rover staff. They wont put any vehicle on an Experience run that would fail. That is not always real life, you could be in any field or track and not on a pre-determined demonstration run. Tyres, good knowledge of you chosen vehicle capabilities and experience are the only combination to keep you moving.
It is always worth going on a course in your own vehicle to understand it's and your capabilities.

You cant beat an american pickup. Understressed engines and basic design = very reliable and they can tow a serious load. Most americans would be pissed if they didnt hit 300k with ease. Shame they are so pricey over here.
