DTL Scoring System

I was also thinking about this the other day and had a lightbulb moment!

Someone who scores 99/297 has missed a target twice, someone who scores 100/295 has missed their target 5 times.

You could score 100/200 hitting every target with your second barrel but you would have missed 100 times.

The points system seems fair to me and sets DTL apart from other disciplines.

Thanks Julesy, that makes sense. Still not sure I agree with it though 100 beats 99 anyday in my, admittedly childish, world ^_^ .

The points system is what makes DTL such a mind game! You can hit all 100 birds, but even a handful of second tubes and you could be out of the running! It can drive you mad and can almost reduce grown men to tears!!!!
