Entries are from 9am to 2pm.

No booking required, all welcome, great catering these days! Usually a good social in the clubhouse in the winter months.

See you there.

Enjoy Will............. I just hope its not a damp squib!

Is there a bonfire and soup after? :brr:

Good round of targets something for every one

can't afford to let the easy stuff slip cus there is a few stands

that will rip them off you finished 93 should have been 95

if someone gets silly I recon there's a 97 there

A good round. Nothing too nasty but plenty of sustained tests. I was horribly tired and jet lagged and felt my 88 was a good four or five fewer than I might have hit if compos mentis. I reckoned a 97 was out there, when a 98 came in! And all the big names were still to finish. Too much talent in this sport..

Sam Usher. I shot with him at Sportasc. Young chap, very new CPSA number, but must have been shooting a good while. At the Sportasc he struggled a bit on the very tough stands but was like a super smooth machine on everything else. I can see why he did well today.

update.. He is a pupil of Mark winser.

Shot this with Rosso and Ed today, I was pleased with 86 which has won B class.

Massive queue on stand 8 because of a breakdown which threw my concentration a bit, but overall really happy.

Started just before 2pm and luckily missed the real heavy rain until the very last stand. My usual form of great on one stand poor on the next. Dropped 12 birds on two stands (3 & 5 the L-R and driven + the R-L and Chondelle from the Grouse butt respectively). Managed to straight quite a few others stands and dropped just 11 birds on the other 10 stands and finished on 77 which I was pretty happy with after two rubbish stands.

Thanks, that was me in the shorts and colourful trainers?

Still new gun syndrome, that coupled with new prescription Zeiss glasses I wasn't expecting much, so very pleased with a 78 in C,

My only criticism would be the catering left home just after six

o'clock in the morning arrived at ground 845 did get a free coffe

as the start times were all wrong but couldent get a bacon roll

as no staff in kitchen or not ready !!

especially after will said how good it was in his opening post

Not complaining for the sake of it but would have expected a bit

better from a high profile ground

Yes they had a miscommunication in house re start times. Advertised as 9am, but everything (scorers and catering) was set up for a 10 start. We went a bit later and did have a great lunch. Shame Pete, I'm sure they will be sorted next time.
