that's great, thank you very much.

how much did the guys from west wales say it cost all in inc stock?

flight £40 each way,2 stocks were 550 euro each, that was the cheapest but still very nice wood. I think another friend paid 850 but the wood looks terrific.

the 2 x 550 stocks was a 3 night stay

I can't remember where they flew to, don't think it was Milan

I'd fly to Verona if I was going there, pretty good connections from the UK - only about an hours drive to Lake Garda, Gardone is pretty close.

Nope cannot always fly to there Chubby. It is Verona if you are taking guns in or out. But they only have one flight per day for us in the south (EasyJet). It is only 30 minutes though to Garda. One hour takes you to Ghedi. Or an hour gets you up Val Trompia :)

does anyone with such a stock have any pics they can upload as an example? also, how have those with them rated the service, quality etc?

Hi Stuart,

I've seen a few of these and they are good value compared to everything else you can buy as a 'custom' stock. Quality is always better than you expect and the service is very good. Don't hesitate if you're going down this route, they are fine. An easier, if more expensive route is to be measured here by a recognised stocker and then let him source it on your behalf. Wesley would be a good example.

I.

thanks Ian. I've spoken to Wesley. I'm after a glove grip stock ideally and hence more difficult to do unless in person or so i am advised.

They don't appear to have a recoil reduction facility built in, if so it seems an odd omission. It surprises me that this wasn't invented over here at least 25 years ago as it makes so much sense.
