Just heard somebody blew there foot off at cockets farm recently on the skeet range? Anybody else heard about this?

A guy did similar a while back. Apparently experienced person on a sportrap stand. Balanced broken gun on cage bar in front, (most of us have done that) but he left cartridges in. Gun got knocked, it fell over forward, closed itself and fired at his foot.

You don't "rest" a loaded shotgun, certainly not on your foot.
He will be going round in circles...trying to work out why it happened, trying to lay blame at somebody's feet, but he doesn't have a leg to stand on.
The long and the short of it is; he put a foot wrong one too many times. He was lucky to lose just a foot. If he did it to somebody else, it would have had to stump up an arm and a leg.
Still sad though.
