I've not been there in years, trying to get Rosso out on Sunday, but I'll be there whatever.
I just looked at the Four Counties website - it says the only CPSA registered ground in Berks. I think RBSS may disagree with that statement even if they do only run 1 reg a year.

Whereabouts in Basingstoke? I used to live in Chineham before moving up here in Arborfield nr Wokingham.

I work in Chineham, live South View area behind the station.

I'll be there for the start.

I don't mind giving the shoot a go and if it's poorly set up and dangerous I won't go back but I've seen quite a few of the top boys shoot this so it can't be that bad.

I aim to be there first thing. Happy to join you. Although I am oncall for work so if I get called I may have to bail early.

Likewise I am happy to try it out for myself as never been before. Mr Faulds shot it last time.

Yep that's fine, I'll be in my silly yellow trainers again.

edge on  fast  going away   ,   not nice  but aint that the way to improve ?    my local is orston superb ground  but I find it tough esp   at my level   but the big boys have no problem , and tell me its the only way to improve  ,   skeet in the woods is great for confidence  but  can leave you struggling  at tougher  shoots .   having said that   shoots don't need  13 stands of impossible targets to find a winner  .  !   :yell:

Got back a short while a go, not a bad course to be fair could have done with one more stand and one less sim pair.

I made hard work of a tricky course with a 62, just wasn't at the races today and refuse to blame the wind etc as it was the same for everyone, I just shot badly. Would happily go back next time, no breakdowns (don't think I had a single no-bird) and not much queuing.

Nice to meet P1 and thanks to Mr Hewland and Steve for letting us join them.

Yes, good company, I would like to shoot that again. Terrible day for me, shooting in front of lots of edgey stuff that I misread. I think the wind makes me tense up and attack too much. (That's my excuse). Ho hum..

I enjoyed it - great squad. Strangely I seemed to do better on the exposed windy section. As usual ballsed up 2 stands to wreck my card but still happy considering the variable wind.

Dan - nice to meet you properly. Let me know about the RBSS Tower Challenge as definitely up for giving that a go.

Lmao. That is a piss take. Wind must have died right down for him.....
I bet it didn't, don't forget he's one of the best shots in the world, plus he's shot there for Lord knows how many years so knows the terrain off the back of his hand.

There was only that fairly long looper that had any real distance on it today, the rest of it was just tricky at places.  I certainly didn't shoot it as well as I could have done.
