remember guns as far as wives are concerned never ever cost more than five hundred quid. This is written in shooters code of practice and failure to implement this will bring upon you very bad karma.

All a bit close for me. Lovely day out as in company and scenery, hospitality etc but nothing to compare (in my eyes) to a good high bird shoot if you go purely on the shooting.

2k can get you a pretty good day on the grouse or a great day under pheasant/partridge

Imagine an OT target beong thrown at you 15 feet above your head from 25 metres away and you can't shoot it directly in front as you might shoot a beater.  It's no wonder 25" barrels were a favorite. Infact sometimes a tennis raquet would be preferable. 

All that plus having the constant worry of being shot by the Banker in the next Butt.  (I have personally seen it happen) 

It's an experiance though and is a bit of an event . 

Everyone should have a go though in the same way as everyone should have a drive/owned a vintage Ferrari/ Lamborguini, gone to las vegas or whatever you need to have in you bucket.

Did have one drive Up in Scotland where they put the guns out in a valley between two dirty great hills and drove them from one to another which was very good to be fair. Interestingly all the other guys who do a lot of it weren't keen at all which just shows how personal a thing it is.
