This is very interesting as someone I know bought 10,000 RIO 21g for his corporate days and has had quite a number of problems with them. My other friend helps out on these days and has told me of anything up to 6 faulty shells during a days shooting. I know I would send them back but I believe they were very cheap and they keep him happy by sending a few more each time it is reported. It just might be the cartridge and not the gun.

It seems possible that poor handling/storage somewhere along the line could be the cause of these probs/. I am into the last 150 ex 1000 of Rio Target20 28gr.12g. and down to about the same quantity of Rio Star Team 28 and 24gr. and have previously shot at least 3000 mixed Rio Target Load cartridges without a single missfie/hangfire. perhaps a little punchy but no other concerns. Fingers crossed that I have not spoken too soon!!.
