For those who like to look up and see  stars ;)

Cracking month ahead

16th/17th   Leonids meteor shower   (may not be as good as previous years due to the full moon, but still worth having a look see)

28th on -- Comet Ison  should be becoming visible with bino's  / scopes   should be visible eastwards in the pre sunrise sky

It may get visible to the naked eye as the year goes on,  but its an unknown at the moment

Are they easier to spot from the North Pole? Or do you just go out on your sleigh?
Ah,  if I'm at home its the Aurora Borealis, the other is quite interesting .

In Oz, the night sky is dominated by the milky way,  that an impressive sight

But traveling around as i do, you get to see quite a bit ;)

Allways happy to let other interested people know

:santa:

Clear skies. . .
