Hi!

Another newbie to the forum.

A new SGC holder from north London.

Been clay shooting with various tutors with various guns in various locations (even rural Spain) for a few years.

Now looking to get serious and go clay shooting regularly.

CPSA clubman.

Local/nearest ground is A1 shooting ground.

Looking for trusted dealers around north London to call my home shop!

Searching for my first shotgun, so far looking like a Beretta 682E 30" Sporter, until I put a shirt and tie on and visited the Beretta Gallery in central London and held a 692!

Fave sites: http://www.positiveshooting.com/ http://www.clay-shooting.com/ http://www.sportinggun.co.uk/

Oh and http://shootclay.co.uk/ :)

Ells...

Hi Ells, Welcome to the Forum, enjoy your visits and the sport! I have used Park Street Guns a few times and they carry a reasonable number of guns so may be worth a look (http://www.gunshot.co.uk/).

I shoot Browning but have held and pointed the new 692 and can't disagree that it is a fine gun - first gun never an easy choice!! just make sure it fits first and looks second!

Yes, I've dealt with Bob over at Park Street guns since the 1980's, he is a first class guy and looks after his customers very well indeed.

A1 is a very good ground, especially if you happen to be trap shooter like me! Claudio is a lovely guy and I had a lesson or two with him when I lived in London, he knows his stuff. I used to shoot at the A1 even before it was called the A1,back  in those days it was owned by Boss gun makers and the ground was run by Andy Perkins, it was basically just ABT back then, it's a much bertter ground now! As for gun shops, Bob at Park Street Guns has sold me more shells and guns than I care to remember, you can always do a deal with Bob and he won't rip you off!!!

Hi there - welcome aboard - get stuck in and enjoy ShootClay!
