Went to Mr Bidwell's High lodge to shoot some skeet.
I have to say I was very disappointed.
Range 3 low tower was misaligned and the clays were hitting the window as they left the trap.
Walked all the way back to reception and they sent a lad out to fix it .He suggested we used Range 2. After about 8 releases the same thing happened. Went back to range 3 all was ok for about another 8 shots then the high tower clays were coming out in bits.
I had taken a friend who had never shot before. He probably won't bother again. I know you have to expect the occasional no bird but over 50% is pretty bad.
It will be along time before I shoot there again. Met another two blokes there who had experienced the same thing with the skeet ranges so they were shooting another course. I just vote with my feet.
