:fie:  Don't blame Easyjet! my Perazzi and Chris Turvey's Perazzi and Paul James's Perazzi all came out in the ordinary luggage  for the last 3 years in Schippol airport when shooting the Dutch G.P. the airline was KLM. :hunter:

I hope Easy Jet is not on here.....we have few airlines that fly guns.....no need for a 22 year old kid to sensationalise an experience.

Everyone knows that the handling takes place with the airport handlers and most of those are contracted out.

Jeeeeeeeeze .....human error...or lack of training can make errors. Facts of life.

There is always a horror story.......but......I use them several times a year.....and no problem.

I do wish the Daily Fail would get its facts straight, it's the airport ground handlers who get your luggage from the plane to the baggage claim conveyor belt not the airline, so if any one should be metaphorically shot it should be the baggage handlers.... Tee wats

Thing I don't really like is that the Journo's would not know about it unless someone opens their mouth.

A quick 5 mins of negative fame could be the tipping point for someone like Easy Jet to go the route of Ryan Air....

Doh........!!

I am pretty sure every time my gun goes on an aeroplane it cost £20,000 to replace - well you can't be too careful with one off customised sporting guns

It's happened a few times to me in the past. I'm usually travelling with at least one other person. One of us makes a beeline for the luggage carousel to watch for them just in case (geddit) whilst the other susses out where they should officially turn up. It's not the airlines fault but sloppy baggage handlers.
