Keep mine pretty clean. I used to do a really full job every time, but now do light cleans and a fuller job every three or four shoots.
I grease all the joint and knockles, so always remove and replace the grease after every time. Old grease gets dry and dirty so must be removed.
Every few hundred shells, I remove ejectors and clean slides up etc. Every few thousand, I remove firing pins and clean the seats.
Top tip, I use a long match, sharpened, to push a bit of cleaning paper all round the ejectors after a bore clean. Gets into all the fiddly bits without removing them.
