I'm sorry but the more you pay for something the more you get fed up when it lets you down.

The Perazzi is like a Ferrari to my Alfa Romeo, Beretta or more quality orientated a Bentley to a BMW.

However you are right in that this gun might have had an unserviced life for example.
Robert I take it you have never owned a early 80's Alfa !

I did own an Alfa Romeo Alfetta whilst I was a trainee accountant in the 70's which was a beautiful car to drive.  The weight balance was excellent as the gearbox was mounted near the rear axle though that did make the gear change a bit sloppy.  Two twin choke Dellorto carbs (Italian version of Webers) provided the juice to a 1.8 twin cam engine which always sounded fantastic.  Sadly as ever with Alfa's you paid for an excellent rolling chassis, engine and gearbox and they threw in the bodywork for free as it never lasted very long due to rust!   :.:

Now't wrong with MX8's. One of my old guns has had 2 maybe 300,000 shells through it and it's still going strong. Had a  V spring break in Australia and that's about it in 15 or so years. Other one is only a baby at 4 years old, so no problems at all. Heard all the usual cr~p about broken stocks and bits dropping off, but in my experience, they are fine.

Did it have in board discs like my Alfasud, same as Porche, engine out to replace handbrake cable. did it have multipoint spark plugs, mine cost nearly a fiver in the Eighties each that is. Woke up one morning and though it was stolen but there was a brown puddle where I last parked it. Now,,,,,,,,also had a GTV and that was the same but better.
