Good question Doug. Buy one and enlighten us all. All the major makers seem to bring out new pads and claim this an that for them all the time . I put a green pad on my 682 golde which had a Beretta gel tek pad and the difference was amazing. Muzzle flip greatly reduced too. Wouldn't be without one now.

There is a good video clip on the recoil systems website with some slo Mo footage of the the green pad in action. And also the hammer test which while not being that scientific does illustrate how well these pads absorb impact.

How would a green pad compare to say a new Browning Inflex 2 pad?

Would it make a huge difference swapping to one?
Had a green pad on my MK38 and now have a browning with the inflex 2 pad and can honestly say that I don't feel any difference between the two pads...

I have a pad called a sure shot from Japan, they are hand made, he only makes 4 a week at the moment, on the hammer test there is zero rebound, they are filled with a gel, nice to shoot, easy to fit, not cheap, but quality never is.
