Well they are both good guns, but I personally would not buy either of them brand new! You save a bomb by getting either one second hand or ex demo. You could also check to see if Alan Rhone has any REM K80's that may be suitable, cheaper than new and with five year warranty! As far as I know, you can visit the Krieghoff factory to get a stock made and fitted if you wanted to, but most don't seem to bother! I've not shot a Parcours, but I've heard good things about them, I've had three MX8's and never got on with them, even though I loved the things!

Life is too short to shoot a gun as ugly as a K80
And Perrazi,s are beautifull !!!!

Crappy wood, go to factory to get it fitted, wait 6 months, more fitting.

Engraved by a machine. Pay almost £9000 for the privalige.

Pin springs always going. Carry a spare trigger group just in case.

Most have no adjustable trigger.

Built the same way as old Lancia's.

Still shooters like all that hassle.

Most talked about gun K. Beautifull. Never breaks down. 10 year guarantee you'll never use.

Well it's true. When is the last time your saw a good looking Perrazi. They are functional. Get the job done that's all.

Most guns don't look very nice.

They are all over priced. 20% vat sees to that.

I mean £3000 for a set of barrels. Come on.

Two tubes soldered together. You can buy a whole central heating system for that.

Lots and lots of tubes soldered together with electric bits as well.

Each to their own.

Mine is always better than his - his Is better than everyone else's, every one else's is better than mine.

Sorry for any offense caused. But K's are best so there.

Ps- Sorry about the spelling. But most people on here call them "P's" or "K's".

At least I tried to spell it !

That should prolly end w/ a question mark if you're actually asking and the "your" could maybe be just "you"  (HTH).  If you are, it was about 5 min ago when I went to check out that cocking thing from another thread.  In fact all of the three out of the safe looked pretty good to me.

"They are functional. Get the job done that's all."

If that's all they have going for them then I just have to agree - what is all the fuss about?

Wonko quote :- "when I went to check out that cocking thing"

Thanks for the English lesson.

I'm glad your guns look fine to you. That's all that matters.

Buy what are you cocking??????

"Buy what are you cocking?????? "

I'm not sure it's for sale but if you're interested it's an older Mirage that I'd let go for maybe $5K - lot a sentimental value

I once sold a gun I really liked. I always regretted it.

Nice gun like that you should keep.

Get rid of the newer ones.

However should the Dollar go **** up I may take a trip, see that cow field you keep banging on about.

May be buy nice a Perrrazi.

I am lucky enough to have both sat at home in my cabinet. Albeit the K is a Supersport and not the Parcours model. The K gun is new to me and totally different in the way it shoots to the Perazzi. Both guns are of the highest quality and are clearly built to do very serious work. If anything the Krieghoff just edges the contest in terms of build quality, it really is beautifully put together. On the handling side the Perazzi feels more responsive and that much livelier, but as I've said I've only shot the Krieghoff on a small number of occasions. I consider myself very lucky to own both and would conclude by saying that owning either one, you will not be disappointed at the choice that you eventually make. Finally, as others have said, don't buy new but go for a good second-hand one. You will be astounded at what you might pick them up for given their original MRRP, but be warned there are loads of "tired" examples out there for the unwary.

Good luck and in the end buy the gun that makes you most happy.

Parcours and K80 make chalk and cheese seem like twins. Mark Winser clearly prefers the Parcours and has produced some of the finest performances in recent years with his.

I've never regretted selling a gun.  Regretted not selling a couple, and regretted not buying a couple.

Keep a bag packed, could be any minute.  Not sure what that cow field ref is about but if you're allowed past the borders I'm sure you'll be able to come across one somewhere

Oh, BTW,  ramblers aren't actively hunted here, but you have no rights to trespass here and so it's possible you could get shot climbing a fence to express your freedom.

just sayin

Got a feeling Marks' isn't a Parcours.

Oh yes it is. He has both but told me he prefers the handling of the Parcours. It is what he used for all the big wins this year, despite having taken hold of a specially made K80 Supersport also (which I assume is holding up some fencing somewhere).

In my view wills nailed it

Try the both go with your gut feeling. over a period of time the enjoyment value is worth more the money value it's a hobby Both different and both very well made Find the one that's suits and away to go

Well tried the Parcour, and will stick with the Perazzi order, the Parcour is far to fast in the barrel for me!
