Kids......who’d have them.....

Me actually, four of them, ranging from 12 to 21. They are part of the “snowflake” generation....Flakey!

If only shooting grounds had WiFi.....they would be there like a shot. No pun intended.

We have bred a very selfish generation, and spoiled them too. It’s our own fault, sadly but most of them are in for a shock when they join the real world, and have to pay their own way!

I wouldn’t be without my Kids, they are brilliant and have changed my life so much for the better, that’s not to say that they don’t drive me nuts...

There is an argument to say that the prior generation (now 30 plus) weren’t or aren’t selfish enough.. the previous generation (now 60 plus) certainly seem to have got a good balance...

My son loves the outdoors, shooting, beating, fishing, golf, just going for walks etc, but unfortunately watching me shoot (at) clays is just too boring for him..

Absolutely brilliant . 

Why not having him tracking your scores? Having him being your "coach" make sure you are last to shoot in the team you walk with, and having him telling where the best break point is on each stand.. And on and on... Obviously if it was a competitive or the like the above said wouldn't work. 

As an off note, at what time do you see kids start shooting around the courses (no matter which disciplines).? We rarely see them before 14/15 here in Denmark

I like the idea but he has the same attention span as me so he’d be bored in 5 minutes..

I don’t see many kids shooting under the age of 14 or so, although you will see a few youngsters taken along by parents it’s key not to push them into it.

Agreed. Something they need to pushed into, bit if you want them to enjoy it (shooting that is), then it's imparative you make it fun and interesting. We'll keep looking PP, you'll will find the key to get him go shooting

One of my friends son comes beating with us.

He gets paid £5 for beating and uses the money to buy xbox games.

Everybody's happy with that arrangement
