and if it were nearer i would be!
...5 of us are flying down tonight to shoot it tomorrow...one of the Scottish ladies is driving down, shooting Saturday 2pm, driving back home, shooting a FITASC in Fife Sunday...but you are too far away!?!?

work commitments prevent me being that far away, almost permanently on call so 200 miles is a bit far.

don't do fllights from Bournemouth to Stansted

also i am allergic to the M25 no point travelling to a shoot for it to be ruined by the journey.

maybe next year.

James , and the other Jocks ( no doubt Robert the Bruce and young Cummings with his German sh*te will get this message) GOOD LUCK, and good luck to my old mate from Hastings , who no doubt will shoot it tomorrow to try to put the fear of God into young pretenders. He's not shooting to bad for an old one who is obviously over the hill????

To anyone flying down from up north. the best airport is exeter then a short taxi ride to the ground.

Went to shoot this shoot yesterday, was a very good round as usual from the Grimsthorpe team. A bit wind affected but that's shooting. Very good turn out as usual and a very friendly crowd, always love shooting this one. Coupled with the fact I shot out of my skin and did a personal best for me, beating my previous best by 8 targets. All in all an excellent day.

yes we enjoyed the police shoot  our team  (micks sandbagers)  won the guest team ,  trouble is I got  flashed for speeding on the way home ,    could turn out to be expensive shoot !

So what did you think of Pilford this weekend, schmokinn? Did the breeze trouble you at all? It caught a few people out on the low high-viz going away shot along the hedge, together with its pair.

I do enjoy Pilford, they put on a good show, and the all-important (nay, vital) bacon baps are good, too.

Do you know if the results for the individual guests (non police) will be listed anywhere, a mate of mine did a 90 in individual guest (G Bell) and didn't know how he'd done as we left before the end. I did an 87 (Martin H) in the finish but would imagine there were quite a few better than that before the end, but though Graeme may have done fairly well with a 90.

The results will be here, although it looks like this weekend hasn't been posted yet....

as uaual some good tartgets...wind affected a bit, still the best local/club shoot..

left to right on stand one more than most..no issues with the green going away on stand two but the incomer kept veering to the left.

straighted all the stands apart from one rabbit, just not on the same round

first round 35,should have stuck with that.

needed the bacon sarinie, serves me right for going out the night before!!

didn't go to Dorchester as i was out again saturday night   so that created pretty much the same result at Somerley!

guess we may have spoken as i have been going there for years large balding bloke with Southern Alignment Service on the back of my vest
