We had a Pheasant strutting across the skeet range at southdowns when we shot on Sunday,  must have used  one of its 9 that day

I was once on a rile range, 200 yards.  We were all using large-ish calibre weapons for zeroing.  A young Sika Deer buck appeared at one side of the range, right at the butts where the targets were and 8 rifles all swung directly to it at the same time...was hilarious.  "Don't even think about it!" says the Range Officer.

Had a wood pecker sit on my target a few years ago whilst setting up a new scope on an air rifle i could not believe it as i didnt even know we had any. Watched it through scope for a minute or so then off it flew.
