in my short (two season) time on game I have shot.

pheasant, partridge, woodcock and pigeon. So far it is my opinion that pigeon is the most difficult to shoot and seems to me that pretty much any sporting presentation is good practice for the little beggers.

Pigeon are by far the toughest, especially in current winds..  Grouse with the wind behind are impressive though, fens pheasant also, but I don't think you can beat good, fast, Jinking pigeons, plus they can spot you from miles away..

yep, I have been covered head to toe in camp (ish) and hid behind a bush but as soon as I put gun up there jinking all over. Very testing indeed.

You think driven phesants are tough.. Try driven Grouse with the wind up em.

Can take a well timed shot to get a snipe.  Like shooting Helice/zz on speed.
