Just add.. Don't forget the Browning One in either trap or sporter.
Which I'm seriously thinking of chopping in the DT10 for.

Have a look on their website and facebook page for pics of current guns. Thanks for that, I've just sent them an email.
690 black for sale on pigeon watch . £1600. Looks nice on the pics and only Northampton so not too far for you.It always winds me up when someone in a forum asks for help deciding on a purchase as it's always a subjective decision, but now I've become that guy.
I've finally got my licence and can now seriously think about my first gun. I've been to look at a really nice second-hand MK38 sporter with Teague chokes and super nice grade 5 wood today. The thing is, I really like the Beretta 690 Black Edition which I can get new for a similar price but they don't usually have very nice wood.
So i guess my question is Miroku or Beretta. I do love nice wood but i also really like the Black action with orange highlights on the Beretta.
If anyone knows of a 690 with really nice wood around £2,000 then my decision would probably be made but I think that's pretty unlikely.
I'd really appreciate feedback from anyone with experience of both.
Thanks for the heads up. The wood does look good compared to other 690's I've seen but not anywhere as nice as the MK38 I'm looking at. Great price though. :smile:690 black for sale on pigeon watch . £1600. Looks nice on the pics and only Northampton so not too far for you.

I get the impression you're saying that through gritted teeth. If I'm honest, my end game plan is a DT11 (or DT12 if they're out by then) if I get good enough to justify the outlay.in all seriousness go miroku. I have never had one but never met anyone who couldn't shoot one. As balltrap says they appear to be very forgiving
I've seen 690's with a 10 year warranty from GMK. I'm not sure if this is a sign of confidence in the build quality or trying to alleviate quality concerns.Miroku simple far too many 690 specs going back with serious issues I wouldn't have one if they were giving them away with a free house.
Mine has the 10 year warranty, no problems so far at least!I've seen 690's with a 10 year warranty from GMK. I'm not sure if this is a sign of confidence in the build quality or trying to alleviate quality concerns.

Seems to be same Story throughout the country, every dealer I've tried will 'get back to me' nobody has got me a date yet!http://estore.beretta.com/en-eu/beretta-/Not in stock but they will email you when it is...

Looks like I'll be doing the cut the cartridge off at the wad trick and packing it in the back in the mean time!
