Glad to see that you removed your other inaccurate post about Cheryl from the Perazzi site. Funnily enough the webmaster asked me if I knew you. :wink:

Their legal department had already been copied the screen shot by their webmaster before you removed it.

I would be very careful in future Scotty.....they do not mess about....with libellers either. I told them that you are a milkman. :laugh:

This is pure observation from the grounds I shoot at here in France. The best shooters shoot either Perazzi or Browning shotguns but predominantly Perazzi. Why would this be? And it is a serious question there must be some reason why trap shooters tend towards Perazzi shotguns.

What is interesting at the moment is the adverts that Beretta have been doing with the shooters the poached from Perazzi.

Medals clearly won by Perazzi.....now hung over a barrel of a Beretta. I will try and find one to show you what I mean. It is poor advertising because everyone who shoots competition or follows the sport....know..!

Jess......all won with a Perazzi....yet on the Beretta stands at various grounds in Italy.

They might be shooting a B gun now.....but those medals were won with Perazzis.

Well Nic that is why B have hired them, its instant success if you will. I would hazard a guess and say that 95% of new shooters don't know what these people achieved with P but when seeing these adverts automatically assume they were won with B guns and these are the people that Beretta are trying to attract people who know guns and have been shooting for some time will not be swayed by these adverts. Perhaps childish but maybe Perazzi should be countering these adverts with some of their old averts featuring these shooters with the same medals?

Perazzi do not play that way thank goodness. They never make a 'false' advert or poster.

Integrity seems to be a dying art .....with most others these days preferring loud spin to convince people black is white.

However....across shooting the same types of things are being quietly frowned on...

skills are assessed....people are assessed....companies are assessed....behaviour is assessed......and after all that only some get invites to the dinner table

Shooting is no different to any other sport... you are only as good as your last major win. These ads could come back to haunt the shooters involved because the only thing the ad can be saying, in my opinion, is we won these medals using a Perazzi and now we shoot with a Beretta watch this space!

its all marketing as santa says.all makers take people from each other and none of them put on the ads that previous medals etc were not won with one of their guns.anyone who bases their purchase of gun on how George or Richard or amber do with any of the brands would be a little soft in my humble opinion.i would go as far as to say that most gun sales are to a budget.but I hope the op has a good time at the factory.
