New stock

Thought I would have a go at stock making. It's approximately 20 times more difficult than I expected. However its starting to resemble a stock now.

If you think it's garish now just wait till it gets  a thick coat of shiny lacquer.

Take it you laminated your own wood, and it looks ok to me, especially if you do a matching forend. Certainly looks no worse than some of the skeleton adjustable stocks that are out there now. It's a clay buster in the end so why not brighten the ground up when using it 

And you've made your own custom fit stock for a fraction of getting one made.

We don't have tiles here in Norfolk, it's premium linoleum at £1.39 a Metre

Well done that man, it may not be my taste having a laminated shotgun stock although I love them on rifles but nevertheless good on you. Looking forward to seeing the end result.

More like Daystate limited editions. I wish I was clever enough to make one for my rifles.
