• Buy a second hand 'quality' shotgun

• Allocate more cash... its going to be an addictively expensive and enjoyable hobby

Welcome and good luck. I do a fair bit of rifle shooting throughout the summer on rabbit and fox and when I first come back to the shotgun at the start of the game season, it is a nightmare.

Hence the reason that this year I decided to shoot some sporting clays, prior to the commencement of game shooting, and I'm sure it has helped.

As others have said - get a couple of lessons and practice, practice.
