I preferred demolition. I took everything apart (just never got around to putting it back together) Much the same as when I do anything on my car now, always bits left over!!  :sarcastic:

My first road racer was a Ducati 250 and every time I adjusted the backlash on the cam drive I had shims left over.  Every time.

Anyone who uses "terribly" like that is clearly rather civil.

I was a builder in a former life, so I have built all sorts of things. These range from steel framed buildings of around an acre in size down to rebuilding a chimney on the old post office in Hampton In Arden.  

Did some contract management of demolition too, I was heavily involved with the project when, for the first time in Europe, 3 large panel tower blocks were simultaneously blown down. This was back in 1987, how things have changed since then.
