Shot 50 sportrap at North Ayrshire Sunday, the compact layout has 8 traps permanently set up, 5 undercover cages in a row, behind and to the left of skeet peg 3, facing a bowl shaped hill...hill covered in SNOW!!! Trap 1 orange overhead setteler from behind, 2 edge on r-l long/low crosser, 3 orange tower from the right quartering away and toward the ground, 4 low house orange OSK, 5 is normally a black rabbit, replaced by orange teal, 6 orange high house OSK, 7 high/fast black crosser from the left side of the bowl shaped hill.

I'd taken my new Randolph Rangers with light purple, HD and dark polarised lenses. Looking at orange clays on the snow the purple and HD lenses really made the orange stick out!! So, on goes the HD lenses...WOW!!! Once the orange clays were moving, particularly at OSK speed against the snow backdrop, it was very, very difficult to pick them up/lock onto them!!! Tried taking them off, nope...tried the light purple...nope!!! Is there ANY lense colour that would have even helped???

It's a set of super dark lenses that enhance Orange. Our Tink calls them welding goggles and she's not far off!

Stands for ColorMag Technology and in my opinion give the MOST enhancement on orange than any other lens I've tried. BUT they need full sun to get the benefit

I'll be wearing them in Dubai as I'm a light sensitive little flower

Same when shooting against white cloud with full sun from behind  - very disturbing - Pilla max orange don't do much good.

Ed, what lenses can you get in CMT for rangers or oakleys, would be helpful to know.

Lyons, you pedant!

(actually bought them from an African Prince who promised me 20 million zlotys if I'd marry his second cousin - lovely bloke!)

People often complain about orange clays thrown against trees too   , I know I have had instances before where I could only see the clay quite late in flight. So the question is considering orange is used to improve definition, should we re-think things here and experiment with different colours ?
