Over 10% no birds today!

They prob throw 15-20000 at a reg shoot but collectively you only get to shoot at 10-12000 the rest are all bits. You have to go home card unfinished as ran out of shells and got hump. 150 required to do 100 at this place.

Was that a competition or a pay & play practise  ??

Most registered 100 ESP comps will throw 15/20, 000 clays.......... so less than 1% is the overall required target !!

Obviously the more traps & stands used will expand on this

Play and practise, the traps are serviced on a regular basis. I've shot 100 clays on my own at Kelbrook without one no bird.

It's a few broken clays and no-birds, it's mildly annoying but surely there are worse things in life we have to worry about.  

Last time it happened down there I stayed and shot 2 other stands and by the time I had finished them the stand with the broken trap had been fixed.  Took a few extra minutes and the walk didn't do me any harm.
