JJ's view is fixed choke and make the variable the cart choice..

Absolutely the easiest solution. Huge difference available in cartridges. Still gives me the mental distraction issue though..

I know of one top shot who takes out his chockes only to the same ones back in sometimes,he says its a habit that gives him time to understand what he is going to do with the clay presentations .

what strikes me is the stock length, all over 15" which is at least an inch more than "most" off the peg stocks. Also noticed a very standard 60-40 (ish) poi with one exception of 50-50. None of this high poi we sometimes hear about.

Now this may come as a bit of a shock,  BUT,  they have stopped making the Winchester 101 and most, (if not all top names) now produce stocks which are a shade under 15". I know because I am at present fiddling my 725 stock, prior to a trip to Kendal.

My stock was 15" but I had it hacked back to 14 3/4 " or 375mm much better!

Changing chokes is just pandering to you own self doubt and insecurities.

Very true I've stopped changing and now shoot cyl- cyl for everything . it hasn't come good yet but its only been 3 shoots.
