Haven't seen any advertising yet . Are these on sale in the UK yet ? If so , what price ?

Yes they are available but only three lens colours, full range to be released soon.

Frame and three lenses retails between 280 and £300.

These are pitched as Randolphs "pilla panther" equivalent but cheaper!

cheaper at £300? Have I missed something?
The Pilla Panther 3 lens set will cost you around £550.

So at £300, the Falcon is considerably cheaper.

Ed - serious question, back in the day oakley's were considered to be the glasses for shooting, now we are seeing sets from £300 to £550, in your professional opinion do they warrant the cost?

Matt I think its something to do with optical clarity, in that the time it take to make 1 Pilla lense you can make 1000 crap Oakley s, Thats why you cant shoot

Really, any time you fancy a wager Martin, jut let me know xD   Seeing as the oakleys were so crap its wonder any of us hit anything, now we have Pilla the averages have sky rocketed... oh wait they haven't!

I have never shot as well as i did back in the old days when you could shoot without the current pilla are the best i have had but IMO not as good as naked eye.

I think HiDef (as they were) set the ceiling when a three lens kit was £375.

They produced an excellent quality frame and some very nice lenses with some great features. They were more dedicated shooting spec rather than fashion accessory - an accusation that has occasionally been levelled at the Mframe/Radar designs.

Personally, i like the vented Radarlock from Oakley and also the Randolph Ranger Edge - both of these are sub £300 for a three lens kit.

The "new" Zeiss Viv X lenses have blasted through that ceiling, hitting £575 at some outlets for three lenses, which is a little steep - that Zeiss Z certainly adds a premium!

I do however like the 46N purple and the new Outlaw frame is very comfortable - i shot my first back to back straights at DTL with them so now feel confident wearing them and would feel happy paying a premium for kit that works for me.

However, i also used the cheapest shells, Saga 24gram at less than £150 per thousand, so maybe dearer isnt always better!
