Is there a quick and easy way, I'm an impatient lazy bugger.. ;) Doh!!
No really quick or easy way to do it! Even if you get a good stock man to do it, when you get it back after a month it may well be a dull finish, then it's up to you to get it to shine if that's what you want! My MK38 is with Dennis Stepney right now, having a best london oil finish applied, after that it will take me up to six months to get it like glass. If you want it to shine fast, the only way is varnish!

I find it therapeutic - if you do it in front of the telly for example you won't get board :)

Hello Les, had the stock finished about 6 months ago, have palmed in 4 coats of clear oil since then. The grain now looks great after the o

ld chipped Beretta lacquer has been removed, just missing the shine..
