Hi All,

just canvasing rather than looking to organise at this stage hence why I raised it here not in the meet up section, I just wanted to get a feel for people like myself who have been shooting a year or less and are look for a way to get together head out to new grounds fail hard but at the same level!

My idea was to have a shared aspect to it, if you have a local ground approach them tell them to plan to bring a few friends and you would like to shoot / have a flush? We have a couple of pound entrance fee which we spend on some glass and award it for the top team on the flush and top individual score, teams and scoring pairs drawn at random on the day.

I'm willing to start things off, I'm based quite close to Bisley and there are a number of grounds around here I'm sure would be glad of the business.

Thoughts?

The Clubman's League was supposedly aimed at this level shooter. This years entrants included a CPSA instructor who sets courses and shoots off an A handicap at his club although he is not bothered with registering for comp shooting with the CPSA!

Now I've got that off my chest .................. I've only been shooting since January and have already met up with a few chaps ( and ladies ) and we bump in to each other all over the South East. Meeting up with and forming a squad to shoot registered comps together and perhaps have our own private comp-within-a-comp would be an interesting idea.

I tend to do Kent and Sussex but have ventured out to Gloucestershire, Suffolk and Hampshire.

Did my first sim drive a couple of weeks ago and had a ball!

I got my SGC, and first gun, in January this year, so count me in!
I'm in North Herts, and from what I can work out from bingle maps, equidistant from Cambridge Gun Club, A1, and Sporting Targets. I'd be very happy to try and arrange something round here, or travel somewhere else.

Sent from my mobile wiv fumbs

In the middle of nowhere so not much point me organising anything but if someone is in Dumfriesshire drop me a PM and I'll try and sport out a meet up, Only day there isn't a ground open round here is Thursday.

Could be interested in this, in North Wales and shoot at Faux Degla which is open 5 days with accommodation (out of season) at Llangollen

Been scaring the clays for 2 months now

Cheers

Steve
