Hi,

Anyone know when this is next year? Fancy going over for a look and a bit of a holiday.

Thanks

Anyone been to the show going on in London at the moment??

A mate of mine was escorting and babysitting some ukrainain officials and getting paid handsomely around the arms fair in london. He put a picture on fb of a 50mm laser guided grenade launcher! He's an captain in the artillery reserves so he's crazed on anything causing massivr destruction. Artillery shooting team man but rubbish with a shotgun though.

here're two

The shotshow is gigantic and I'm not sure you can walk the whole thing in one day.  If you stop to look at anything or talk with anyone you can count on being there at least a 2nd day.

used to be fun to hit the shotshow and then burnt out on the thing go down the street to the antique arms bunch and actually have a good time hahaha  It used to be in a huge tent and there was about anything you could want from flinters to Fabbris.  I'm talking way past cool.  Still pretty OK.

WTH - here's another one the Tulsa show.  It's everything and I've not been able to cover the whole thing in the two days it's open.

I've been to the Shot Show twice - interesting, but exhausting - Las Vegas as well!

You must pre-order and pay for your pass - you can't just turn up.

The Shot Show is for folks in the  industry in some way or another i.e. mfg., dist.,  range owner, instructor etc. and you will be asked to show proof how you are involved and wait their approval.  Look at the site it is all explained there.

I'll be there so look me up and we can share a pint or 3...

Cheers,

Danny

Yeah, check the site for info on entry.  Pretty easy to fake something up  and get in actually.  And far away as GB is the likelihood of them taking the trouble to check on some bogus biz is really remote.  Word processors can fake up biz letterheads is a few minutes hint hint hint

Not much really changes year to year as is easy to understand so a fast pass at it every 3-4 years is about a tolerable level.  Unless you're actually in biz of course hahaha

the antique arms (and sporting) show on the other hand is an easy wannasee every year

And as for Vegas - just go to the old downtown Binions Casino and shoot craps and eat at the Palace Station (you can put together the full English there w/ no trouble at all)

or bacarat at the Bellagio if you're coming at it from that end

Perhaps not such a good idea to encourage this. Shooters aren't the only people who view the website!

That's way past paranoid.  My magnitude of deviousness is so low that anyone interested in crashing the show could burn up to that level in about a heartbeat.  It is WAY more difficult to get into the music industry show NAMM than it is the ShotShow.

I mean, for an old pit crasher that stuff's not even up to the easy scale hahaha

just sayin

Charlie
