Thinking of a truck for shooting, probably Navarra techsomething 190ps, the only one with multilink suspension so quite SUV like, any reason why not? Thanks.

Local John Deere dealer had two both destroyed their engines.

Half shaft failure on rear axle cost about £2500 to put right from Nissan,a goodwill gesture of £1500 from Nissan is common so long Nissan service history. Can wait several weeks for parts.

When take a test drive listen for noise because wheel bearing failure is common £200 to £300 per wheel.

Best truck on market Isuzu rodeo,John dealer has two.

Agree the Navara is plagued with problems but the best truck is the Toyota Hilux

Been whatching Top Gear, hilux very good truck just keep an eye on the injectors as prone to failure unless been sorted.

Not keen on Hilux, had a land cruiser as a courtesy car and it was awful, Hilux is supposed to be worse..

Will probably lease this through work so less concerned about longevity vs ride quality ..

Had a Hilux for the last 12 years never broken down , never had a refuse to start

Not keen on Hilux, had a land cruiser as a courtesy car and it was awful, Hilux is supposed to be worse.. Thats why it the class leader !!

I'm sure it's indestructible, but thinking about ride quality to and from shooting... Will try to test drive though, thanks for suggestion.

ford ranger....just saying ?
Quite a waiting list and expensive

out of curiosity why a pick up rather than a 4x4 ??

I need a Ford Transit to get all of my shooting clobber in !
Zimmer frame and wheelchair !!!

Space, dog carrying abilities, ability to carry loads of family stuff when not shooting, unleashing my inner red neck.. just fancy a change really!

Don't like RR, Disco ok, but fancy something different.

fare enough. Nothing wrong with a change mate

If buying a Nissan, buy new and change at three years old.
Probably change after 2, new Merc truck will be around by then.. X63 AMG please (or 65)... or Ford 150 Raptor..

Exactly, I find most cars now incredibly stale and boring these days, plus now that I have my semi auto I just need a confederate flag and chewing tobaccy..
