Just make sure you've got AA membership if your buying Land Rover
I have a SC Range Rover Sport.

I put general grabber AT2 rubber on a set of 19 inch rims.

So far its been great.

Hilarious on road too.

I have FULL cover from the AA as I have owned a few Land Rovers in the past.

Go out and test drive the double cabs, the disco is a posh truck,I would not let my kids in never mind the dog.

The double cabs can have lockable roller trunks for security or tops on the loading bay which is lockable,I have a 05 ford ranger which dog and al gear goes in the back so cabin stay's clean. Also the road tax is cheaper if commercial.

After a couple of weeks of my life that i wont get back (is there any lower form of life than car sales persons?) i have simply opted for a new VW Tourag, Wife is allergic to dogs so once she has cleared off the dog can ride up front!

Wished I had known, I could have got the 'Scouse' version,   VW 'Toerag'   it comes with the wheels already missing and differing number plates on front and rear    !

Sorry, forgot it also has clips in the glove box to take a 'sawn-off'  !

The later Navarra has far better rear suspension and therefore the ride is better by miles than the previous version. A good choice if you're leasing over a short term ie within warranty.

Have you looked at the newer Mitsubishi's?

Have had Navara's for 15 years ....D22 75.000 no issues ....D40 82,000 ..1 wheel bearing , and replace dpf filter and a remap went real well never less that 32mph , put EXOL VIMAX FULLY SYNTHETIC 5-30 in both the above changed at 8,000  D40 still original battery after 8 years, quiet as a mouse starting in the cold ...

currently driving new DP300 ...test drove them all ...best ride and if you are used to driving fly by wire trucks can get close to 40 mpg , not slow either came back from Garlands 70-80 mph mostly motorway 4 up all the shooting kit and 3,000 shell ....journey computer said 38.7 mpg ...that will be more like 35 through the tank !! but nice to drive and the coil springs on the back make it handle great , no ass end skipping out on this model ....100,000 5 years warranty my model is the N-Connecta + i WAITED A EXTRA MONTH ON PRE ORDER £17,945 +VAT happy with it but there is good and bad in all 4x4 looking after them helps and I have religiously changed oil and filters at 8,000 after warranties expire  ...

I drive a 2009 Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max.  I bought it new.  I very much enjoyed putting in my other halves 15 year old beaten to shoite dihatsu car worth nothing but the scrap metal and getting 2k off with the scrappage scheme.  Anyway, its a good wagon.  I had an after market canopy put on the back. Can happily fit 3 dogs and load of shooting gear, a couple of bagged up fallow carcasses and anything else we lob in there.  Having the cab and the boot seperate really helps us to keep the font of the truck clean and suitable for the kids etc.

I'd like to trade it in for a new one.
