Never seen beretta ones john what model

DT 10's looked like it was an after market job at first I thought they had stripped the Blueing off but when I saw the guns up close the were chromed. I have to say not to my liking but did look different!  Now fortunately I never was in their squad otherwise side blinders would have been needed :) One thing marred the effect after 100 carts the ends of the barrels were sooted up a bit needed a bit of a polish up :)

Must have been after market as you say cos i never seen em

Seen a few Kemens with chromed barrels, this was a factory option at one time.

Reminds me of the old Swedish "Flodman" which had externally copper plated barrels which was then blued over the top. Over time with use, the "blueing" wore through leaving a gorgeous dark copper colour. Very attractive in my opinion, but not seen one for over 20 years now.

Then, of course, The" Red Baron" had his barrels gold plated (well, he would wouldn't he?) Proper Gun - Bling!!

Yes Gordon Lee does like a gun with some bling, not to my taste though! :fie:

had a chat with your gun dealer chap today he showed me a very tasty chrome barrel trap gun. I loved it and its far from traditional.
Ian I'm surprised at you!!!! I always had you down as very conservative and not a lover of bling! Are there any pics of that gun anywhere, is it on the Marrochi website?

Mod 100 all weather, pic on there web site.

I was surprised to mate, usually only like trad stuff as you know but I thought this was cool. Chrome barrels not as weird as you think once you put gun up. Didn't have time to shoot it but would have liked too.

Sorry Ian chromed barrels shooting OT... that has go to muck up you target acquisition?? Mind you a set of super shades probably cure the problem. I have ordered a pair of lenses from Ed that according to the manufacturer are made from some sort of material that actually more than doubles the colour intensity of an orange clay when viewed through the lens. dinnae ask me how it works but I should know summat to do with a transition element they include in the making of the lens. I know it is mostly hype but I think its called going with the flow but doing it on a restricted budget... Scottish gene kicked in just in time :)

Your probably right John otherwise we would have seen em used before, I wont be buying one as I have the two Beretta but I thought they were a nice looking thing if you wanted something a bit different bit like those multi coulered Beretta 682 jobs from early 90s never really caught on but I wish the bloke every success as he seemed a decent chap.

I think Laurona used to make a trap gun with black chrome barrels, will see if I can find out what model it was!
