The SE England championship shoot must have been a little tough as GD 'only' carded a 95.

The course chewed me up and spat me out with a shameful 41. :( boy when I have a crap day I really have a crap day. Filled the sky with lead and missed 6 out of 10 clays in spite of walking round with two damned good shots.

I shot this today, thought the targets in general were very good, just had a few hiccups towards the end with flat batteries and empty traps.

I was there today, I enjoyed the course but I started off badly having decided to try out the little magnet thingy that you use for eye dominance problems for the first time. Trying very hard now to keep my right eye open instead of closing it as I am a right handed shooter! Dutifully covered my left eye which is my dominant one which of course forces you to keep the other eye open unless you want to shoot blind. It felt really strange and I think it will take me some time to get used to having it there but I have got to find a way to keep that right eye open and eventually you never know might be able to keep both eyes open and hit something. Came away with 51/100.

Friend and I shot both the ESP and STR there today and it was obvious they'd toughened things up a bit on the ESP with very few gimmes and some very tricky simmo's on the STR.

Target wise no complaints whatsoever, decent birds and I felt pleased with my 85 with just a 4 and a 5 doing the major damage but man was the waiting around a pain, that and above average breakdowns on both disciplines. Keeping two sophisticated layouts trouble free needs a lot of trap maintenance and a few rapid handymen………..neither seemed over evident today.

You can't blame a ground for attracting huge turnouts but for some reason every stand just seemed slow and grinding, even the simmo pair ones !

Anywho I really enjoyed the shoot and the burger too.

Shot this with the HPX Team today. Had hoped to break 80 with the new RSR but ended just short on 78 (Brother whipped me again)

Really enjoyed the targets, much better than our last visit at the S.E. Selection. A broken trap caused a long delay on a sim pair but otherwise the shoot flowed smoothly. Roll on The English.......

Thought this was a very good shoot esp compared to the selection shoot a few wks back, to make things better I just found out i got 3rd in A class, not bad as it's only the 3rd registered I've shot in the past 2 years, must say since I've got my new HPX the scores are certainly getting better, long may it continue

Sent him an email and a pm about getting a fitting a week ago and have not heard back.

Guess he's not an email type of guy!

One thing about John Jefferies is that he is NOT quick at anything. He did my gun fitting and it took him over 3 months to get it finalised. He is slow to respond to text's and emails, one i sent him over 2 months ago he still hasn't responded to! I have also been waiting for a HPX left hand skeet vest for 9 months now!! He is a lovely guy and does great fitting but his timeliness and customer service really let him down! I am left feeling very disappointed at the moment!!

Why don't you call him?

Why don't you call him?
I text or call him or see him on a fairly regular basis and i shoot with one of his sponsored shooters every week so i know he is regularly prompted as one of the skeet vests was for them. To my mind if it's not a sale then it gets pushed back in the priority list.
