Shot the handicap classic yesterday at RBSS

Thoroughly enjoyed it

Some very challenging layouts, grouse sequence was great fun

I need to go back as I can put a better shift in than I did

Only criticism is the way to work out handicaps is not great!

as a person I shoot with a lot I would say is near enough on par with me had a bad day

I got 14 handicap (cpsa) he got 35 (RBSS)

Stayed local today hit a few missed a few went back round missed the few I hit the first time and hit the ones I missed!

consistency seems to be a slight issue!

Had stomach cramps all week, still went to WWood 1/2 asleep, went home and just woke up, now got to clean the gun. Dan was 1/2 asleep too but hit more than me.

Nothing for me this weekend due to commitments.

Trying to decide between Gunsite and Westfield next Sunday. Never shot at Gunsite before, its double the distance of Westfield, worth a trip?

Well shot hamid

i shot kegwoth today shot a 73 doing my usall dropping 2 on nearly every stand then having a howler dropping 5 but all exsperiance
I too shot Kegworth and for the first time it was not the usual smooth running shoot that we see.  Admittedly we only go every so often but I have always enjoyed it.  It took over 3 hours to shoot 100 birds with 45 mins on one stand with a "now it works, now it doesn't" battery that no-one seemed to come and change.  Having nearly lost the will to continue and having distracted myself as best I could while I waited my turn- it was a marathon of is it coming or not,  Gun up for so long, just take it down and it appears so gun up and try and get it because you don't know when the next one was coming.   On to the next stand where there was no bird, no bird, no bird and an unfortunate setting of a bird that went directly into the sun.  It was cold as well which did not help.  Then there was the inevitable dash to make Garlands in time which we did, thoroughly enjoyable.

Glad you enjoyed garlands sian
Yes I did very much.  Made a few silly errors and I think I was not as fresh as I would like to have been when being challenged by your targets but I was not unhappy with the 64.

Wish I had had a go at the pool shoot at Garlands - Tony did and said it was random targets.  I like the buzz from not knowing sometimes which one it is going to be.  Would have probably missed a lot but the adrenalin rush is always good.

Ah yes, that's right, no barrier up where there should have been to stop us walking down the wrong way.  Luckily the ref saw to it immediately.  Well nice to have sort of met you!   Hard going in the cold.  I was at the stand before the overhead one for 45 mins waiting for my turn!!!
