You can go off people. :wink:I'll say it again, just to annoy people. I shoot 17 registered grounds all within 75 mins drive with no traffic. ?

As I am not far from you I assume Southdown is not one of them. And none of those 17 have a registered shoot on this weekend?I'll say it again, just to annoy people. I shoot 17 registered grounds all within 75 mins drive with no traffic. ?
William likes to shoot during the week as well as pick and choose if he shoots at the weekend, weather permitting of course. I am also lucky with regards to access to many grounds but would have more choice than William as I will travel further and weather doesn't enter the equation. As I am not far from you I assume Southdown is not one of them. You could think about doing B&B. Just for clay shooters... :drinks:I'll say it again, just to annoy people. I shoot 17 registered grounds all within 75 mins drive with no traffic. ?
Southdown is one of them.. you really do need clear traffic for 75 mins, but it's possible. As I am not far from you I assume Southdown is not one of them. And none of those 17 have a registered shoot on this weekend?
Well done Doug ??married life going well i see ?Visit to Ian Coley today for the latest round of their Summer Series today; the weather was not in line with the series title. Rain, rain, and more rain.
Still, managed a new PB of 87/100 which also meant a class win ?
I did the opposite to you and only dropped 2 targets on my last 4 stands. Didn't hit the long crosser on 6 but managed 2 of the battue. The sim pair on Stand 9 was my worst - dropped 5 on that but hit the last pair with one cartridge. Finished on 75.Just got back from EJC. Was very last card and took a while to get around due to all the old boys out shooting sxs and late night shooting kicking in. Started off well enough. Managed to hit a couple each of the long R-L on 6 and the flippy L-R battue on 7. Dropped 8 on the last 3 I shot (not in order) to finish on 82 which was dissapointing after shooting the first 2/3rds so well but is not too bad after looking at the scoreboard.
I missed the first three, moved my foot position further around to the left and hit the last two by taking them earlier. Two bad EJC scores on the trot for me but great targets, even better than last time, quite a few tough stands but no complaints. I just wish I hadn't had so many 4's and 5's  didn't hit any of those green L to R off the platform !
I knew they would be dipping low if not taken quickly but they were so fast that shooting them earlier wasn't easy either. I am fairly sure I was giving them too much forward allowance.I missed the first three, moved my foot position further around to the left and hit the last two by taking them earlier.
I missed the first one as underled thinking it was quick but not that far away. Then gave more lead and nailed the rest.I knew they would be dipping low if not taken quickly but they were so fast that shooting them earlier wasn't easy either. I missed the slow crosser first two times then realised it needed more lead even though it appeared to be stalling.I did the opposite to you and only dropped 2 targets on my last 4 stands. You would be surprised as to how far out that target was and him much lead it needed with its speed, I saw 5-foot.I knew they would be dipping low if not taken quickly but they were so fast that shooting them earlier wasn't easy either. I am fairly sure I was giving them too much forward allowance.
If we're talking about the green one I would bet well inside 40 yards, I tend to see more lead the faster the bird but have to say despite starting with a fast swing and trying between 3-5 I couldn't touch it. My friend who shoots in A class pulverised his 3rd and final bird and reckoned he saw less than two foot. You would be surprised as to how far out that target was and him much lead it needed with its speed, I saw 5-foot.
