The boundaries in sport are there to be broken. They're not dropping the 100m from the Olympics because it would be really hard to beat Usain Bolts world record.

Personally the big targets are what I'm starting to want in a layout. I don't want to pay for 50 or 100 piss easy targets. I want to learn and understand how to hit the big ones.

I think you are missing the point of this specific thread . I say again I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT SPORTING, I AM TALKING ABOUT SIM DRIVEN AND GAME AT REASONABLE DISTANCE.

Please respect a good thread derail. And while I'm at it, to be clear, with a bit of experience the big gap shots aren't the toughest at a good shoot. It's usually some nasty edgey thing that slows or drops just when you haven't noticed it well enough. Or long teal. Uugghh.. or a really distant clay that is hardly moving. Those are my nightmares..
