Shot this today. As usual, Steve (and Ali) have put on another great shoot. Very tasty targets (tasty free lunch too).
4 layouts, 4 pegs each layout. Lots of variety, close and distant, every angle, all the rabbits put together on one peg - great peg. Ran quite smoothly for us with breaks in between layouts less than an hour. Apparently there was a major trap breakdown but my squad wasn't affected.
I would happily shoot this every year just for the sheer pleasure of shooting great, challenging targets.
Shot a modest score of 97/150. I had 2 very good pegs where I only dropped 1 but a couple of nightmares as well. But I hit the long range midi off the tower on the barn and that made me very happy

Had the pleasure of shooting this yesterday, truly one of the most enjoyable shooting experiences I can recall.

Well done to all at the clay pigeon shooting company

As expected, super targets, great set up, lovely food and even decent weather! Well done to the whole team and to Dave for putting his hand in his own pocket to help support our hobby.

I just hope Steve some of these big birds I've heard so much about on for the final :)

great stuff from mr Solomons,, he has a great future as a 29 y/old,,

I see fitasc, proper, old style, fitasc as the best challenge for a clay shooter, not to detract from the disciplines in the slightest,, as they require a type of dedication that many cannot achieve,,the repeatability and reaction of any Olympic shottist is phenomenal,   but I still think working out the targets, which mostly you only see the once,, is more in line with the essence of clay target (pigeon) shooting, due to the variation, and the lack of 'repeatability' .

just a pity it takes so long!  this is the reason ESP is so popular,, 2 hours versus a day for fitasc!!!!

:suicide:I would love a bash but  time and money rule many men !      just one genuine question ,  do any of you actually have jobs ?    if so please list occupations and salaries  thanks .  :beach:
