You may not actually be hearing the noise, it could be resonance from your cheekbone in contact with the stock from the firing pins. I always de-cock my gun for cleaning after shooting by putting a 2pence piece over the firing pin and pulling the trigger, there is a lot on energy in those pins
You could try a thin piece of self adhesive foam over the cheekpiece to insulate you cheek from the stock and see how you get on
Edit: I do .22lr target shooting, wooden stock, tried a full aluminium one and could always hear a ting when shooting, asked others around me if they could hear it, answer no, changed the barrel/action back to the wooden one, no noise.
Asking around later and quite a few others where saying they could hear the same thing while using an alloy stock, some it didn't bother and carried on with it, but as far as I know no one complained of hearing problems from it
