I have one gun for everything, but I am a novice of nearly 1 year.  The gun fits really well and I am usually getting 20+ on DTL, and have scored a 97 as a PB.  Usually hit with first barrel, stand 5 is my biggest problem.

The gun, it's a 1999 Miroku Grand Prix based on the MK60 with fixed 1/4 & 1/2 chokes.

I thought about buying a trap gun, tried a few but I am now so used to the lighter weight I plan to stick with it.  Even use it for skeet and the Remmy 1100 for a bit of fun!

One gun for all disciplines......i have just the one for you....Grade 5 MK38 trap 32" fully teague choked.....sacrilege to some out and out tarpies, but i aint no trap shooter.

Have seen this gun on trader sort of gun I am looking at but a trip to Somerset to have a look!
Trust me that trip will change your shooting for ever...........RIng in advance speak to Dennis explain what you are after and take your current gun with you......

I was looking at a "vintage" Miroku trap gun, 30" barrels, Monte Carlo stock, at Stutley Gun near Cambridge. Around £900, and they're looking to sell...

You simply cannot go wrong with a Miroku! 682x is a good dtl gun, but Miroku is still king!

Miroku good but 682 has the edge imo.
Both good but the 682's don't shoot loose as quickly and can be made better than new when worn, also some Mirooks like to rust in the chambers, Beretta don't.

all irrelevant unless it fits.............. but easier IIRC to make a beretta fit....

I do like the 682 I previously owned a 682 gold! I liked that but had to go as I needed sum quick cash! A 682 gold x trap would be really nice but unfortunately like hens teeth!

Ed is bang on the original Gold is in a different league to the "E" as far as handling and build quality are concerned.

Looking at a 'mint' Remmie 1100 Classic trap today, lovely gun but a bit expensive at £1,000 plus.
If it's the one with a gold eagle side plate I bought one new a few years ago which was around the £800 mark, got rid because as well as not being able to shoot auto's well it wouldn't get through a round without 2/3 misfeeds.

£1k - ouch

I do like the Remy, bought mine for £350 with a 25" skeet barrel and a 28" full barrel.  Its a very well used 1991 model but still shoots well.
