icing on the cake no good to me i want the cheeries aswell

might see you at churchills tomo will if you are going

Point taken Steve, your not the type of ground owner who pisses people off by not posting results for WEEKS, yes weeks!!! Even when they've publicly promised to "do it tomorrow" nearly 2 months after a championship and still take another 10 days after that!?!? This is guys with a clubhouse that they could up-load the results as they come in as others with permanent clubhouses on site do...

Steve, with the way farming/weather has been for the last 24 months, I ask myself every day "why am I still doing this?" The truth is I'm kind of "locked into it" like many other family farms, we are "all in" trying to make it work :(

awesome, thanks, I'm chuffed came 3rd in A, well happy with that! seem to have opened a can of worms though..

darkside have to to say i would not want to be farming this last year a complete nightmare with the weather i have freinds who have hardly drilled any cereals and now cannot obtain any seed for spring sowing

going up to garlands last week there is still a field of winter beans stood up on the side of m 42 if it were mine i would sell it out for pigeon shooting any way hope it all comes well for you in the end farming is a good life but a bloody hard one now adays all the best steve

I think Steve and Ally get it just right with the results coming out pretty quickly after the end of a shoot - and Ian at Wylye, and Adam at Grange - all good examples of how it can be done.

I'll stay my standard piece - I'm happy to work with any ground owner to help them with a simple system to get their results online same day - free of charge, very little extra work for them.

Heavens - I leave him for a day on his own and he starts posting and causing trouble!!

Just an update on what Pete at CPSA has told me about their new computer system.  I asked if there was a way we could, as ground owners, instantly update all of you if a shoot was cancelled (due to weather, unforseen circs etc) as with modern technology the way we work now is a nightmare,  Unaceptable even.  As ground owners we can't even put a last minute shoot on as we have no way of getting word out to you all.

He says he is working on a lot that will be released earlyish next year.  We will have what we want, can amend fixtures easily and simply, your results can be posted with little fuss and overall we will all be able to communicate much more effectively.  Well done Pete :D he really has got his finger on the pulse of what we want, it just takes time and money to sort it out.

As for me getting my act together and posting the results, I'm trying!!

Hope to see you Sunday at Westfield

Ally
