What did you think of the white clay off of the high stand at Gatton Bottom, more of a test of eyesight than shooting ability. Bit naughty I thought..

chicken curry no worry
I managed to get one of them, the others I was behind every time! The stand further up the in the field part before the end wood had that similar low orange or pink can't remember from right to left, struggled a bit with that also. I find it hard to focus on them before it is too late.

Shot a 79. Not too bad for me. One missed target on the last pair, 5 times, to spoil a straight though. I really seem to like sabotaging my score. Looking at other peoples cards (I'm nosey like that) saw a lot of bad scores on stand 4 (sim r-l) and saw lots of good shots (AA) miss the first overhead out and sometimes more. Put a skeet choke in for the close rabbit and didn't miss it - unlike some much better shots. Maybe they have fixed chokes or it's just not cool to be seen changing chokes..

The problem with the pool shoot is £7 for one go but £10 for 2 so everyone does it twice - hence the queue is twice as long as it looks. Also 25 targets rather than 15/20 so takes longer. Some people like to do the pool shoot as a warm up (me) I waited 30 minutes to get on which was properly lucky.
