Credit where it's due.  RECOIL SYSTEMS. Having lost/misplaced two vital screws from their "adjustable recoil pad" (please don't ask how) I contacted them about buying replacments.  Not only didn't they charge me for the screws + spare, or even the postage, they even posted first class, so I got them the next day.

Now that is excellent customer service. Something that seems to be sadly lacking these days.

I once rang David a few years ago to talk about recoil. 

I was glad that I was sat in a comfy chair as we talked for about 30 mins.

I’ve known David for years and shot with him a long time ago.  As you say, a true gentleman. We had several of the recoil pads off him for various guns and always an excellent service.

I also used to bump into him at various shoots and can only agree, David is a really nice guy but as said a coffee and comfortable chair is needed when you phone him. The trade needs more like him.
