What gun did Vincent Hancock win Olympic Gold with? I'm almost certain I know, but I just see a Beretta advert that suggests differently to what I thought. Ether I'm wrong or Beretta are being naughty and misleading with their advertising...

Beretta Italy twitter, a pic of Vince Hancock holding a DT11 with two gold medals draped over it, quote,

...I have a DT 11 and like it, I just object to false/misleading advertising!!!

The advert is a little misleading. Vincent's been promoting the DT11 since the olympics (as have most of the Team Beretta shooters). He won his medal with a DT10 skeet gun with, unusually, standard weight barrels.

I was luck to have a DT11 fit me perfectly! Elia Drachia who coaches some Olympic teams in the middle east, said it was impossible. He had me mount the gun several times with eyes closed. Dah, it was a perfect fit. I did win two smaller events this past September and managed a true report pair R-L & L-R on a nice pair of pheasants this fall with it. BTW, I used Skt & IC with 8 target loads over Oban!
