His registered electoral roll address is listed as 157 145 ST. JOHN STREET LONDON EC1V4PY,  google it and read who use this cover address. Wonder if this trust's HR did any homework.
The internet is a wonderful thing.... very difficult in this day and age to not leave a trace.

I guess it is just as easy to find the contact details of say The Nelson Trust and their admin\HR\Boardof Trustees too on the internet....

The man in question certainly has an awful lot to hide,I've uncovered just the tip of the iceberg , the information I have verifies his deception runs into hundreds & hundreds of thousands ....Many, many people have been hoodwinked all for his own financial gain.....

For a couple of years in the late 90s Nelson House was a customer of mine and I came to know Roy Brash and the office staff quite well. They are a charity which has helped many people with the sort of addiction problems which are often invisible to most of us. I have no doubts as to their integrity as an organisation and I hope their association with the thieving turd doesn't harm their reputation.

Oh dear oh dear.  I have to tell you folks I first met Phil Coley in 2001 and I haven't known him play a straight bat yet.  I know that he had unpaid debts (I know because one of those debts was a deal I brokered for him, I am still embarrassed by that) as far back as 2003.  I also know that he has told people that at one time, for about 4 years, he held the position of Director of Home Shopping at Laura Ashley Ltd.  He did not.  He was the Interim Contact Centre Manager and he was there for about 4 months.  We did not extend his contract.  I know this too because I worked for Laura Ashley during that time.  I wonder if he has claimed that on his CV to The Nelson Trust.  More recently I know that he has left a trail of bad debts and un-delivered promises in both the clay and game shooting world up in this neck of the woods.

I was not surprised to hear that he had gone bankrupt in 2015.  I wouldn't be at all surprised if that wasn't the first time he had gone bankrupt.  Disappearing and emerging in a new sector seems to be his default position.  I also know that he has accepted a significant amount of money by way of an 'investment' from someone who was a personal friend of his at the time.  He buggered off, tried to drop out of circulation and she still hasn't seen any return on her investment.  I don't like speculating but I doubt very much her money was spent on the 2 'business projects' it was meant for.  Osprey Corporate Ltd was the company.  I think he spent it on subsistence and paying off other, more pressing, debts.

He has created about 12 different companies in as many years and, if i recall correctly, none of them have ever submitted any papers to Companies House.

I can't see how he could do any real damage to the Nelson Trust.  I understand how Charities run and I doubt he could ever really harm the service they deliver to clients. God knows what he has told them but as far as I know he has no particular track record in fund raising. That's what I meant above about popping up in different sectors, claiming expertise. The worst that could happen for the Nelson Trust is that he doesn't manage to raise any funding and in the process damages their reputation.  Fund raising is not an easy thing to do, getting it wrong and losing your reputation is.  I think they should be appraised.  I would want to know this if it were my Charity.

In my opinion this man is not to be trusted.  He may have been a fine coach, more's the pity really, because he is a crook and a cheat and is lucky to have escaped prosecution thus far.

wow  and  me thinking what a great asset to clay sports he was ,   as the old English idiom  goes  " never judge a book by its cover "    sorry to all that's been ripped off   by this  toe rag .    .

hopefully, he is finished in the world of shooting. I never got taken for any money but I did naively get associated (very briefly) with one of his ventures. Fortunately, I saw the light very quickly and removed myself from it. I do feel sorry for those who were taken in by him though, he clearly was a very untrustworthy individual.

I'm quite saddened by all this really, I never had any dealings with the guy apart from a one day 'Masterclass' I did with him a few years ago....which was 'ok'. Also I'm not great at internet searching, so can't really unearth anything about his dealings but thankfully I'm not one of the unlucky ones who've lost money.

I really dislike this sort of thing though...maybe I'm old fashioned or just naive, but as a believer in an honest days pay for an honest days work I find it baffling that some people can invest such effort in doing the wrong thing especially when the family business has such a good name in the industry and a future there would have  seemed a more elegant prospect perhaps?

Well, it seems as though the Nelson Trust have decided to terminate his employment and will not be having any further dealings with him.

Oh well, I hear McDonalds in Stroud are recruiting....

Well, well, well, what a tangled web he wove.

He certainly has been active , just goes to show that many many people can be duped.

I was told a long time ago that his Father would not employ him, how true that is I don't know .

Over the years I have helped him a lot , writing articles for him for which he got paid and I did not .

As the saying goes we live and learn .

One huge benefit from all of this is that we can freely go to any shooting ground without the fear of bumping into him, his little camcorder and his ridiculous whispering repetitive commentary.....

I hope one day that the people who are out of pocket because of his actions, get their money back. Unfortunately, I suspect that might not ever happen...

I am sure that Phil, like many others like him , before him and after him , honestly believe that they do not owe anyone anything . They have used due process, accountants, solicitors and grovelling letters of apology to explain away their actions .

They now feel the slate is wiped clean and can go on to their next Idea  , is he the Wolf of Wall Street  or The Wolf of Welshpool ?

Remember, Bad Pennies always turn up , until they are taken out of circulation .

Oh dearie me .... trustworthy and recommended???? I think not!  Interesting that they don't actually say who they are ...... wonder why?  To be avoided methinks but as Nick says at least the shooting world is safe enough.
