What I really hate about all those is the dressing up and I would rather stay at home.  Absolutely hate New Year always have.

exactly Sian me too. Am at my happiest on me recliner dog asleep between me and Mrs ips, single malt on side table and flick through freeview cack. As for new year I detest it on a biblical scale, old Lang sign or whatever its called my arse, particularly hate blokes trying to kiss my Mrs at 12 o'clock.... Sod off or you will get a smack, also hate the fact that folk consider it neccasary to stop up until 12 then make total arses of themselves after copious amounts of blu nun. Ten or poss half ten and I am off to bed.
