I really like Auchterhouse - been up there a couple of times to shoot the Scottish National Skeet Champs - never tried their Sporting though.

Bit of an all round FITASC weekend coming up for us . . . . . . .

Saturday we are having our first ever try at Helice, on a full practice day at Invicta.

Sunday we are shooting John Dyson's FSP at Dartford.

Just hope the mercury rises a little before then  :brr:

How far you prepared to travel butty as longridge is on with good targets perhaps you and robbo could car share if you fancied the trip ?

It is mildly amusing to relax and watch the pleb's attempt at humour.  A wise man once said that it's not the station in life that one attains, but the manner in which one treats the mortals who inhabit the lesser stations.  As an adept, I usually smile with tolerant affection - much as one would when watching naughty, but lovable children.

Thanks TP. Got a call from No 2 son at 6.30 to say Kelly was being ambulanced to Gloucester because she needed more medical support than Stroud could provide. There were minor blood pressure and heart rate worries. One of those 'Oh sh*t' moments.

Anyhow, grandson was safely delivered at 9.30 but the hospital gestapo won't let any visitors in to see mother or child before 2.00, and even then only in 2s.

Some things matter more than breaking a few clays. Anyway, couldn't afford to shoot and pay the hospital parking charges...
